Jimmy C. Snowden

Jimmy C. Snowden passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, in Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.

Born on December 14, 1949, Jimmy served his country in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that reflected his strength, discipline, and sense of duty. Following his service, he built a life defined by hard work, adventure, and meaningful connections with others.

Jimmy spent much of his life in the Woodlawn and Pine Bluff areas of Arkansas, where he became well known and deeply rooted in the community. For many years, he worked as a UPS delivery driver in the Stuttgart and DeWitt, Arkansas area. He took great pride in his work and was admired not only for his dedication, but for his friendly nature and willingness to stop and talk with anyone along his route.

In the early 2000s, Jimmy moved to Key West, Florida, embracing a new chapter of life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He also spent several summers in Kenai, Alaska—experiences he treasured and often spoke about with fondness. No matter where he lived, Jimmy had an extraordinary ability to make friends and leave lasting impressions through his kindness and easygoing personality.

Above all, Jimmy cherished his family. He is survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, who were the greatest source of pride and joy in his life.

Jimmy C. Snowden will be remembered for his service to his country, his strong work ethic, his adventurous spirit, and the many friendships he formed wherever life took him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
